The cold weather isn't so bad imho, it is the 100 degrees with 10000 percent humidity that I can't handle. Can we ban humidity????

I love that decal: I'm not tailgating, I'm drafting!

Ranks right up there with: I'm not speeding, I'm qualifying!

I no longer smoke, quit over ten years ago. I also have no problems with Bars that allow smoking, as long as the fact is clearly stated before you go inside. If a bar/restaurant allows smoking it would be patronized by smokers (kinda goes without saying) who are using a legal substance and are of legal age. I disagree that the state would have legal authority to deny this right. I believe we still have the right of assembly.

I don't support banning anything except Immorality, Gay rights (banned already), keeping drugs banned and banning Abortion (Which I want banned nation-wide)

I think we should ban anyone who wants to ban everything

You *do* realize this thread is nearly 3 years old, right?

I heard that NC banned smoking (finally) in restaurants this year. Has it not taken effect?

The point is that bleeding hearts seem to forget that the government has NO BUSINESS telling business owners what they can allow as far as LEGAL substances but YOU have the right NOT to go to a place that has smoking.

Now I will let this thread get back to whatever the point was in the first place.
Yikes. Simmer down.

It has. Smoking isn't allowed in restaurants. The post you quoted was written on 11-14-2007.
