Check out Dr. Naumann at Randolph OB/GYN. She's my ob and delivered my best friend's child last month. She is awesome! Always explains everything and makes sure you know all of your options on any topic.

Dr. Sarah Morris at Carmel OB/Gyn is great. My wife has been going to her (and raving about her) for 5+ years and she C delivered our daughter two years ago. When I was a soon to be dad I got to go to a lot of appointments and Dr. Morris was always great about the zillion baby questions we both had. She has a very easy going/outgoing personality...not at all uptight. She was awesome during the "C" as she realy kept my wife (and myself) very calm and relaxed.

We did see Dr. Barnes on one of our "rotation" visits but her personality was more on the line of "robot doctor". Very professional and nice, not nearly as personal if you like that kind of thing.

I was a patient of Dr. Barnes and LOVED her. I can see why she has a waiting list. I've also heard good things about Dr. Morris too.

Update:

I finally went to see Dr. Solomon a few days ago.

The front desk help and the nurses were just wonderful.

Dr. Solomon was very patient and extremely professional.
He answered all of my questions and I never felt rushed.

I'm happy to report that I finally found an Ob/Gyn I'm comfortable with. Too bad he wasn't around when I had my babies.

I really appreciate your posting this info!!! We are getting new medical insurance in a month (DH's company has switched insurance companies) and so I am going to have more flexibility as to what docs I can see. So the recommendation is appreciated.

Default Dr. Solomon

I have been seeing him for a year now and rally liek him. He follows up with me and will order any tests I ask for.

I am not quite sure if that will be the practice I will use when I get pregant though. I have heard great things about Charlotte OBGYN and they have midwives which is a little more my style.
