It is very close to Birkdale though some news reports I believe described it as at Birkdale. Seems like an altercation, but limited on details.
The greater Charlotte metro area has been having too many shooting incidents, yes we are a Big city but it is almost daily or sometimes multiple in one evening being reported like a week or two ago.
At the risk of falling prey to some type false reporting, My wife and I were seriously thinking of moving to an Apt. in Birkdale after our house sells. Should I be concerned.?
ALL - contrary to what you are reading, this was NOT in Birkdale Village - but in fact occurred at a residence in the neighborhood. The incident had nothing to do with an 'altercation' but was a self inflicted gun shot. No suspects or criminal acts.
Bdj - I put in the subject near Birkdale and said some sources described it as in. You can see the photos were at a home. The altercation is my speculation as there is little info on what happened. What news sources or where did you find this information BDJ, as I see three posts from you. Not doubting what you are saying just please provide a source or URL with more info, if available.
Tragic as that is, that type of incident can happen anywhere. Thank you for the information.
