I keep hearing about the various desirable areas of the city. Fourth Ward, NoDa, Cotswald, Plaza Midwood, Dilworth, etc.. I drove through NoDa when I was down there, but to be honest it was a bit smaller than I had hoped for. I feel that I'd get bored as there are only a few things to walk to.

I'm trying to understand where in the city I can live that has the MOST bars/social life, single women, activities, and in general just as many walkable things as possible. I understand that each area of the city may have this, but I'm trying to determine if there's one area that's handsdown the best for those in their mid 20's.

Thoughts?

Dan

Your best bet for all that is to live uptown
Southend and Dilworth are also good places to look, but uptown would be best if you can afford it.

UPTOWN! That is where most of Charlotte's nightlife and happennings are.

Uptown consist of 4 Wards. 1st, 2nd (coming soon), 3rd & 4th.

4th Ward is the closest to the city center and is most desirable!

GOOD LUCK!

Uptown also has the biggest return for your money in property values. No area of Charlotte appreciates higher & faster than Uptown!

Uptown is expensive and square footage is small but well worth it if you want an urban environment!

I would say uptown too. South End/Dilworth is also very close to uptown (almost walking distance, easily accesible by the Lynx light rail).
