Default Price's Chicken Coop
Ok I just had lunch from there.. and WOW.. best Chicken I ever had! I am so full right now, but looking forward to my next experience.

If you like Chicken check it out.

yea love it but only do it about twice a year...otherwise i'd kill over from a heart attack-haha

You MUST also try the "Chicken Box Cafe" on N. Tryon St @ Craighead Rd. It has to be tied with Price's (and I am a HUGE fan of Price's). Very good food and also very good side items (Southern Food). Also you can dine in too. Moderator cut: tos violation

Also a VERY good Soul Food restaurant is in University City called "Down to the Bone"...VERY good food!

I went to Prices website to find their location. Will have to stop in the next time in the city. I miss having "really good" fried chicken.

You just named the three spots I eat chicken at. When I talk about chicken in Charlotte, those are the places!!!!!!

I LOVE Fried Chicken...I would rate the best in the Charlotte area as...

(1) Prices tied w/Chicken Box Cafe
(2) Down to the Bone
(3) Shrimp Boat near downtown Gastonia...AWESOME!

Price's Chicken Coop was named as the best fried chicken in the entire country! (Food Network : Healthy Recipe Collections, Party Ideas, Quick & Easy Recipes)
The chicken is just unbelievably delicious and so are their hushpuppies.
Highly recommend it!

You all should also try Price's fish. Very good. I actually get fish more often than the chicken.
