We need to get this storm back on track! Everybody - get your car washed. This may well cause the storm to veer in a more northerly direction. I believe it's the same effect as building a "trailer park" - tornadoes will come!

HA HA HA HA!!!! Okay, I will go wash my car this evening. That's easy enuff. Anything to get a good soaking here . . .
I'm just praying this thing doesn't make the hard left once it gets off the coast of Florida....keep it going NNE so it could slam the Carolinas w/rain....we need it.

I dunno. This is an odd one. Not used to seeing that defined an eye after hitting land (w/ such a disorganized storm). They are saying it will turn back west . . . but I am wondering if Fay will reorganize and skirt up the coast a bit and then back into SC. It appears w/ the convection at this point - and that High - that she will turn west towards Alabama. . . but I have seen stranger things . . .
If she really does turn west at the panhandle, I don't think we will get much activity from Fay.

I already did my part on this and got my car washed last Sunday...even got that 15 cent discount per gallon on gas just for doing that! I think the wash-your-car-to-bring-on-the-rain hex is over!

Emissary, wash the cars, wash the windows, & everyone have your hair done. It will pour
Hair is done, truck, well have to wait to go back to town for that one! I am keeping real positive thoughts here but not holding my breath. I love suprises so come on Fay--suprise us with a glorious bunch of that much needed rain!
After hitting land the storm intensified....(Will someone write a thesis on this explaining how that happened??)
Right now she's stalled slightly north of Lake Ochechobee.....
incredible...
