My husband and I are on a mission to find the best local take-out Chinese. Any recs in the Mint Hill/Matthews area? Oh, and anything along Independence from downtown to these areas works too! Thanks!
It's not chinese but japanese...Shiki's in the Galleria shopping center. Corner of Monroe and Sardis rd N.
They have an awesome Shiki Special. This is for two people, you will get a combo of chicken/steak/shrimp/scallops with either mixed veggies, brocolli or mushrooms..It also comes with some steamed rice and sweet carrots..a Miso soup and salad are also included .and this costs $18.99..
they have dine in or take out.. Sushi is also on their menu.
China Express II at the corner of Idewild and 51. It is over near the Food Lion. They have great food, cheap prices, free delivery and have the youngest cashier I have ever seen in my life. Always remember to get the take out menu, it has coupons!
China One (Matthews Festival Shopping Center) --- I wasn't crazy about it the first weekend it opened, but it has consistently gotten better and better...and it is by far my favorite. They have a buffet and regular menu, dine in or take out and Mongolian Barbecue YUM!
10412 E. Independence Blvd Suite 430 (next to Big Lots)
Might be a little late in the game, but Wei Wei's on Independence -- across from Windsor Square and in the same shopping center as Hop's, Office Max, Guitar Center, and Souper Salad. Family owned, fast, and delicious!
There's a little Chinese restaurant in the plaza in Mint Hill where Jimmie's Restaurant is that has great food.
My husband heard great things about that place and he loved it but I was not a fan... Too bad b/c it is walking distance from our new house...
