Loves, I usually respect, even admire, what you post.

You can have mine, Seriously.
I am rebuilding a vintage BMW and was going to wrap the mufflers in it.
Just let me know, I will set it aside and you are welcomed to it.

No disrespect to the President-Elect, it just happened to be the paper I would need tomorrow.

I'm looking for one too. I went to four places and no luck. I heard they were going to print more but I have no idea if they already did. I might go out early in the morning to see if I can't find one. I tried calling the observer but the customer service person was out for the night.

Seriously anyone is welcomed to mine.
It is here on my desk and is completely unmolested - I read it online today and did not read my print edition.

PM me, I am leaving for a motorcycle ride to Lake Lure in the morning, but will save this for someone who really wants it.
I am happy to UPS it to someone who really wants it for free (my expense).
It is my pleasure do to so considering how important this election was to many people in our country.

I think that you generally add very valuable insight to many of the conversations here, but this comment was not necessary -- totally unrelated to the original request.

Trying to find a post-election Observer? - Breaking News | CharlotteObserver.com

Saturday's newspaper will include a special section commemorating the election of our 44th president. It will retrace the rise of Barack Obama's political career and profile the entire Obama family through stories and photographs.

At least she was far kinder to her copy than what I would've done if I had one. If I was low on tp at least I'd have something as a backup.

I can appreciate wry humor, whether I agree w/ it or not. Something that bothers me is that we all feel we must be so PC these days . . . otherwise, it seems many times, people take personal offense when we are just letting off steam or being silly/humorous . . .

A million years ago, as a college student, I was told that the best shelf life you can hope for w/ a newspaper is that subscribers will use it for the cat box, cause at least the person thinks "gosh, this newspaper is handy to have around" when he/she changes the litter box . . . and so will continue the subscription.

I didn't even THINK about hunting for a paper (I don't subscribe to the CLT OBS for personal reasons) . . . but I thought many people would archive online articles, pictures, etc.

For those of you who didn't get a newspaper . . . how about downloading various articles and pictures onto a CD . . . and then making it into a scrapbook type arrangement for your enjoyment? As long as you are not selling the info and you have properly noted sources, no reason you can't do this. You could do a Power Point presentation, as well, or a slideshow of various photos from campaign events and post election speeches, etc.

In 20 years, this could be something your kids or g/kids would really enjoy seeing!!!
