If I may add, its not like here in jersey right about now, we are due for 4-7 INCHES of snow and its not supposed to stop until tomorrow night but they keep updating so it may be more they arent sure right now, OH HOW I WISH I WAS IN NC....LOL

What I find amazing is that pansies stay in bloom all winter long, so there's never a total lack of vegetation and color.

Winters in Charlotte are brown and cold. Nothing special. Most of the entire month of Feb. were highs in the low 40s and lows in the 20s. We lacked the snow was all.

Please dont plan on coming here and laying out in the sun and going for a swim in the dead of winter! Not trying to spoil it for everyone but the truth needs to be told on this thread.

How does the humidity in the summer compare to those hot sticky days in Manhattan? This question is more for the transplants that would know from experience.

According to the National Weather Service:

July

Manhattan - 68% Average RH
Average High - 84.2 degrees

Charlotte - 70%
Average High - 90.1 degrees

August

Manhattan - 64% Average RH
Average High - 82.4 degrees

Charlotte - 73%
Average High - 88.4 degrees

Oh man, wish you were here today Mik...got my sliding glass door open to my screened porch and the birds are singing up a storm in the yard It is just beautiful here right now (it is currently 59 degrees)

umm LOVES can you say IT SUCKS.....lol....I DONT LIKE U NOW...ROFL...IT IS COLDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD....and No im not planning on swimming in in feb HOWEVER I would like NOT TO WEAR A DOWN FEATHERED JACKET.....lol
