We really don't need anymore Buckeye fans down here! jk... You can't go wrong with UC. Great county. Good luck with your job search. Most people will tell you not to come without a job. Teaching demand is high, but so are the numbers of applicants.

My husband, children and I live in Union County and love it. The taxes are lower than neighboring Mecklenburg County (Charlotte) and we are just about 15-20 minutes to Uptown (downtown Charlotte).

The schools in Weddington are great and Cuthbertson is among the newest.
how are the taxes there we moved to lincolnton and I do not like it here to rurual here for me, I spend more money in gas trying to get to places

Are you asking for a comparison of property taxes b/n Lincoln County and Union County? Union County's taxes are higher than Lincoln County's taxes.
