Yep it's that time again, and every year I am baffled as to what to do. I was thinking maybe food at Villa Antonio, but I have no idea what to do after. My girlfriend is coming to Charlotte that weekend (2 month long distance relationship), so I'd like to try and make it a day she won't forget. Suggestions please?
Maybe you could tell us what she's in to so we can make suggestions. Does she like wine tasting? Does she want to go to a club? Is she a sports nut? Does she prefer quieter activities, like a museum (maybe before dinner out)?

I think the Pewter Rose does a nice romantic meal - check them out. FYI, I think you do need reservations pretty much anywhere you go in Charlotte on Valentine's Day. Also, have a little box of Godiva to give her as a gift and you're all set
Godiva is chocolate right, can I get that brand anywhere? Pewter Rose looks interesting. I may try that instead of Villa, thanks for the suggestions.
She is a very outgoing girl and loves to talk. She's into sports, but not so much participating in them. She really likes to go dancing, but she also has the side to her that likes to relax and take it easy. She also really enjoys wine, although I know little to nothing about it myself.
I second and third Pewter Rose. The atmosphere is lovely and the food is wonderful. Afterwards if she wants to go dancing, you can or you can sit on one of the sofas in the restaurant and have a night cap. We may just be there as well
Just made reservations for Pewter Rose. This place looks to be exactly what I'm looking for, and wont completely empty out my pockets like some other places around here. It looks like they have live entertainment starting at 8pm? If so that is a major plus. Thanks for the tip. Any before or after plans or suggestions welcome.
