What do you mean "rate"? If you are seeking a job in Charlotte and presently unemployed, you are counted as unemployed in Charlotte regardless of the orgins of your unemployment check. Not that hard to rationalize.
So you mean to tell me if I went to Atlanta tomorrow and filed applications with 2 employers are you telling me I would be counted in Atlanta's unemployed? I still have my Cali drivers license and my permanent address is in Cali.
folks we will be having threads like this for years to come get ready for it. we are repeating the history of the 1930s just on a grander scale. it all has to do w/ the out of control government that we have on our hands here. this isnt just a jab at obama it all started w/ bush # 1 then clinton then bush #2 now obama is taking advantage of this so he can remake america into his own ideoligy look how the free market is being destroyed. do you folks really want america remade into a socialistic tyrany?

Im sorry you don't understand where I am coming from. My drivers license says I am from California. My car has California plates on it. My permanent address(where all my mail goes too) is in Cali. Do you get where I am coming from now?????? Maybe someone else can explain it to you????

You obviously are not a resident. If your tags are over 90 days old and have not been changed to N.C. you are illegal. If you get your mail and have a Calif. address, you are a California resident and not a resident of North Carolina. You count for nothing here until you take legal residence. Got it?
P.S. Please, no more stupid questions. Besides, I already answered your question. If you are going to ask questions, at least read the answers.
I refuse to waste any more time with your silly questions. You obviously are not a resident. If your tags are over 90 days old and have not been changed to N.C. therefore, you are here illegally. If you get your mail and have a Calif. address, you are a California resident and not a resident of North Carolina. What do you want to hear? You count for nothing here until you take legal residence. How did you manage to get all the way across the country?
Thank you point has been proven. Also my tags are good until August 2010 thank you

Yes I am seeking a job in Charlotte and I am presently unemployed and NO I am not counted as unemployed in Charlotte. You understand now?
It is staggering to me that there's still these "Charlotte is in great shape" threads happening... absolutely amazing.
To what end?! It's a complete and utter fallacy to represent that the known fluff statistics are "wrong" because people moved to the area without jobs. I mean seriously - just wow.
Well, duh! I am sure that you are not counted as unemployed if you are employed. Just curious, are you a Valley Girl?
Did I say I was employed I am sorry but me and you are on totally opposite sides of the earth.
