I was very excited about it initially, but... with that whole Detroit bailout thing, I'm kinda down on the American cars at the moment. South Korea seems to be the most capitalist country exporting cars right now, and Malaysia could start within a decade. Pretty soon they'll be caught up to the Japanese brands, with China dominating the entry-level segments... America can do many things very well, but unless it opens its borders and gets rid of unions and minimum wage it just can't compete in low-tech and medium-tech manufacturing...

It'd be a lot cooler if it wasn't so damn big. This is their small car? The three series or C class competitor? C'mon. This is one of the bigger problems with Detroit, everything is designed so fat guys from Detriot fit in them.

This is completely laughable considering it's an absolute bargain in its market segment.

No, this is their 5-series or E-class competitor. They don't have a 3-series competitor because the market has not been kind to compact Cadillacs. The BLS is their 3-series segment car in Europe, but it's not sold here for the aforementioned reason.

Very true, Drover. I think he was stating that other cars offer equal performance for a lot less dinero (ie EVO, etc). I think.

What? Cadillac is one of the oldest and well known luxury brands. What do you think of the 50's and 60's Cadillacs?
