Hello everyone,

I will be moving to Chicago next month from Madison. My work will be at Jackson Blvd,Chicago, IL 60604.
Things i'm looking for is
1. Good elementary school for my 3rd grader (also she will move sooner to middle school sooner as well)
2. Commute to Office
3. Reasonable rent for 2bhk (1500 to 1700?? not sure)
3. Indian community

I have Naperville as one of my option but open for others as well.

Thanks much

Yep. Live in Naperville, or somewhere else along the BNSF Metra line that gets you downtown from the western suburbs. I like Downers Grove too.

Indian Community? ...Should we assume you mean Asian? Or are you looking for a spot on a reservation?

You might look into the SW 'burbs also.

1- 203,204 elementary schools are all good
2- Metra express train takes 35 min, your commute to the train station might be harder
3- pretty much anywhere
4- pretty much everywhere

You definitely can't go wrong with 203/204 schools. There's a pretty big Desi community in Naperville, also a huge Patel Brothers grocery store for all of your Desi spices and grocery. We're in 203 school district and my kids love it.
