I don't visit too many "urban neighborhoods" in the city. However, one of my best friends lives in a poor overwhelmingly-black neighborhood called Beacon Hill in a suburb called Chicago Heights. More times than I can count, I've been pulled over for no reason on Western Avenue by Park Forest cops who assume my only business there is to buy drugs. No reason other than being white, I mean. The cops usually ask me a bunch of questions like I'm some kind of criminal suspect, sometimes search my car and move on when they don't find anything illegal.

It's really lame and ignorant but it's just how a lot of lame and ignorant white people think - And often times lame and ignorant white people with badges and guns. It's a losing battle so I chose to accept it the best I can.

This is too much guessing for not enough information.

Yeah that is why I said this early on in the thread (notice I did not say she was buying them):

The moron that shot her needs to be blamed and punished as well.

It depends what the definition of "party" is.

Im not not goinna lie there's quite a few black people who may live in a bad area who assume if a white person comes into there neighborhood they are there buying drugs.

Sorry I didn't give out full directions for you to follow. If you knew where it was, you'd know that is how she might have traveled there from Park Ridge. Really nitpicking there aren't you?

And there are more young people (18 and up) moving into the West Side apartments now from other areas because the rents are cheaper/affordable, which makes it not so shocking that she was there. The only thing that you and other adults with children might be shocked at is why was a 15 y.o. at a party at 2 A.M. That still does not mean she was buying drugs which is my whole point!!

I'm surprised as I've never been pulled over by the cops when I've driven to and through the west side and asked that question, ever! Yes, there are plenty of ignorant Whites and some of the comments here are really rude as well. Unless the cops actually reported they found her with drugs or in her bloodstream, then how can it be assumed?

I do know where 1100 S. Albany is. Apparently you do not. You would have to be a complete idiot to go all the way to Ashland and then come down Roosevelt to 1100 S. Albany from Park Ridge.

Nothing nitpicking about it. You sound like someone that always takes the truck routes.
