My gf just moved into the Aqua building. I live out in the Naperville/Lisle area.

I'll probably be visiting a few times a week so parking would obviously wind up being pretty costly over the course of a month. She can buy 3 hour passes but still not cheap plus will be staying overnight sometimes.

I'm sure some people will say take the train. On a day like today, saturday for example I get out of work at 5, the next train doesn't leave until 6:30 amd doesn't get me in until 740 so on top of having to wait for a train its a long ride.

Wondering if anyone has any cheap or even better free parking options. Wondering what the closest area to Aqua is where thre's free street parking. Figure I can drive down and park hopefully not too far and then take a cab or the l to her place.

Is that a viable option and if so where is a good area to park?

Didn't you already ask this exact question just a few weeks ago?

I did ask a question about Aqua but it was about the neighborhood not about parking and no responses mentioned parking.

If you don't have anything constructive to say move on to another post, posting a previous question aksed that has nothing to do with parking doesn't help me.

I went down last night, cost $26 bucks to park. Not terrible but kinda sucks paying $26 just to go hangout and watch some tv for a few hours.

Still interseted in hearing from someone who actually has some helpful info.

Thanks.

I am not as familiar with the west suburban El stops. But on the NW side stops like Cumberland (blue line) and Howard Street (Evanston Red Line) you can park your car for the night. It costs a few dollars and then you ride the train in. Call them to make sure you can leave the car overnight but I think you can since both lines are 24 hours. Since you are in Aurora, check Oak Park, Elmwood Park, or even far west side of the city.
