What was this forum you talked about? If it's gone, is it archived somewhere? It sounds like a good read....

Yes just google American News Post.

Most of the recent articles will be on non-crime related subjects. The site is really only known, though, by the pieces Joseph Fosco penned on the Outfit.

His dad was an Outfit heavy and he could probably be described as an Outfit "associate" before some mobsters extorted him and so he launched this site spilling a lot of secretes in retaliation.

The best pieces IMO were the interviews with Michael Magnificchi, who was at one time a big Outfit bookie and who's dad was an Outfit killer, and if you just do a search on the site for articles for names like "Lee Magnificchi," "John DiFronzio," "Rudy Fratto," "Dr. Joseph Giacchino," "Spilottro" and "Sam Giancanna" will come up.

The comments section were really good, and pay particular attention to comments from two guys named The Don and Black Angelo.

They weren't perfect, and probably what could be described as "Outfit fans," but they really knew their stuff.

(Ignore comments from some nut called Special Quest Explorer; she is, I think, a schizophrenic.)

The site seems to be more or less dead these days; there are very few articles on the Outfit and most of the good commentators are gone.
