Didn't say that, and wouldn't.
OK, so what exactly was your point? Do you even know any more?

Oh I was quietly observing, like you apparently are, until I saw that ill-placed little jab. By all means, carry on.

My point was that I didn't say there aren't good places to eat outside of Chicago. Someone else did. You decided you had a beef (no pun intended) with me anyway, for some reason, and I'm not sure why. I didn't have one with you, and still don't.

Otherwise known as obsessively poring over all of someone's posts hoping to find an error you could correct. Glad I could help you feel better.

Oh, so now I get it. When you were taking a dig at Shaumburg's culinary offerings and that you gave the poster "the benefit of the doubt" that he comes into the city to eat, what you really meant is that there are good places to eat outside the city limits. Or something.

Thanks, it's all much clearer now.

Please. You just took a grandstanding dig at me over usage and misspelled the word in the process. Unfortunately that gets one's pedant license revoked.

If it makes you feel any better, I'm every bit as confused by this exchange as you appear to be. I really have no idea what point you're making, or which post of mine you didn't like, or why. I'd be more than happy to drop whatever this is if you are.

edit: Okay, I found my "dig" on Schaumburg to which you are referring. It was followed quickly with "I keed, I keed," an acknowledgement that I haven't even been there, and a statement that I was giving him the benefit of the doubt. Is that what all of this is about? If it's not that, please PM me to explain.

I bet you can get both in Schaumburg or Tucson. Maybe they're the same after all.
