Is Chinatown sort of growing in all geographic directions or just towards and further into Bridgeport? Also, did the immigrants bring with them Chinese nightlife like lounges and ktv?

Go 4 Food is not owned by Tony Hu so there's no reason why they'd be closed because of that

According to my girlfriend who's from China, nightlife in most of China really isn't that big for late night hours. She has asked me on more than one occasion why Americans and Europeans love staying out so late and that it's not that common in most cities in China, though in a few like Shanghai and Hong Kong it's more common. It's a lot more common to have food places that stay open later in reality.

It has grown into parts of Bridgeport - some of the parts that are adjacent are 70+% Asian and the ones next to that are above 50%. If you go to parts of Bridgeport, you'll see Chinese on the businesses in parts for sure. Bridgeport is also home to some pretty rare Dongbei cuisine - I think there's something like 4 restaurants around Halsted/31st specializing in it and there's also 2 of them in the basement of the Richland Center in Chinatown proper. It's interesting because this is basically the same amount as you can find in NYC (1 in Manhattan and the rest in Flushing). I guess it makes a little sense because Chicago and Shenyang are sister cities.

Go 4 Food... What a dreadful restaurant name, IMO. It sounds like a gas station convenience store.

Totally agree, but their food is actually pretty good.
