Where are you coming from? I ususally drive and park at a meter on 26th st next to the RR tracks. But you may be in the building longer than the meter lasts.

When I went to 26th & California there was a parking garage you could park in. If I remember correctly it was also free. Funny I should look here...I just had jury duty here this week in my new town.

They usually call people that are not registered to vote for some reason! I have never been called and I have been registered since 17. Maybe I am lucky? I know several people that have never registered to vote that have been called several times. Weird huh?

Are you registered yet?

Go to Chicago Transit Authority | 1-888-YOURCTA and you can do a trip planner from Union Station to the court house.

The west side of Union Station is on Clinton Street. You want to find a bus stop on the west side of Clinton and hop on the Blue Island/26th bus. It will take you straight to the courthouse.

I presume the OP already knew how to do that and thus was looking for other options besides "take a cab."
