Are you sure? I think it does, have you fully read the fine print on your birth certificate, 'born here, die here' or something like that. It's on mine, for sure.

But that's exactly my point. The guy I responded to was making it seem like M-F city live is vastly different from suburb life. City folk can stay in and Netflix, or they can go out for a night of fun. It's the same deal with people in the suburbs.

The only real variation is that the activities available will be different.

You don't have to be social in the city. Ever been on the L? Even though there are other people on the train, you don't have to pay any attention to them. In fact, I'm sure you could go an entire day without speaking to a soul if you worked in your own office.

Actually, I think it's easier to be antisocial in the city. In a small town, everyone knows each other, and rumors spread very quickly.

Did you not read my post form earlier? I literally said I enjoy being naked outdoors while watching the sunrise. Obviously I can't pull that off in any major city unless I want to be put in an asylum.

It's one pf the fastest shrinking cities in the US, the glory days are long gone. All that's left now is the shameful inner city crime, which as become a national embarrassment. My mother made the difficult decision of leaving last year, and that it broke her heart, that lady once loved the city, but the Chicago she once knew is gone.

I was raised and lived in Albany Park for 36 years then moved to the far south suburbs. I used to think suburbanites were clueless. Now, I am one. Well I still have a house in Albany Park that I rent out and a condo in the South Loop. So... I could still be a city guy if I want.

You just seem to be against anything that has to do with the city or civilization in general
