In Noble Square, it might well depend on your income.

There are not too many in Noble Square. The few that exist are usually on Ashland. The ones on the side streets are usually larger apartments that have been split up or garden units.

I would not pay a lot of money for a one bedroom in Noble Square. I would find it hard to believe if any of them are worth paying more than $700 for.

Is Ukrainian Village a more desirable neighborhood to live in? Nicer apartments for the money?

There was an apartment for rent on Craigslist at 702 Noble st. 1bedroom, 1st floor, $750. Does anyone know this building?

That address is in West Town not Noble Square. It is very close to the border (Chicago Ave) of the two.

No ,I don't know the building, but from the looks of it on Google it appears to be an old wood structure with new siding. Probably around 120 years old.

Most likely the first floor was originally a general store, bar,or feed store with the owners housing or room and board rooms on the second.

If the heat is not included it is not worth it for sure.

Not only will it be loud from the highway but it will also be loud and parking will be tough at times due to the K-8 school right on Erie/Huron and Racine.

The East Village neighborhood as a whole though is pretty safe and a great deal compared to its neighbor to the north Wicker Park.

It isn't a bad area, as others have mentioned, the expressway being close by might be annoying, but I think it would be a fine place to live.

That's a little too far East to actually qualify to be in the East Village. That's more of a Noble Square address. It's not a terrible area, but I wouldn't say that particular part is great either.
