We'll technically INDIAns are from INDIA...and Native Americans are from America....Did you forget you're history lesson...they were only called Indians b/c the dumbass that first came from europe thought he was in India when they came over here.

Well Jax, you are not correct about that dumbass. He was far from the first, a few vikings come to mind. He also missed the US by about 120 miles, ie what we now know as the West Indies. Though the natives located in the West Indies probably looked quite similarly to those on the mainland. I have noticed though the Natives closer the the equator (like those in Mexico and Guatemala) are of darker skin than those in the states as well as those in Canada. This is similarly true of Indians from India. Hooray for semantics.

I'm feeling for the poor OP of this thread though. Any semblance of usable advise seems to have flown out the window.

No, and I didn't forget the difference between "you're" and "your" either.

EE, if you get home sick for "the old country" head up to Devon Av. on the north side between, say Western and California. If your jones'ing for some home cooking, it's the place to be. Actually, almost ANY ethnic food you have a taste for can be found in Chi-town. Can you tell it's supper time?

Default Are Wrigleyville bars 18+ friendly for day games?

I know this is a kinda dumb question...but a bunch of my friends/family and I are headed in this weekend to see the Cubs/Cards game, and while we are all 21+, my sister is 19. Are the bars in the area all ages/18+ during the day/before a day game?

Why don't you just go to a bar and grill? There are tons of them up there. That way you can all drink and she can nosh on some pretzels and look bitter.

Dugout and Murphy's Bleachers are literally across the street from Wrigley and are quintessential sports bar and grills.
