What do you do when you're bored in Chicago? Besides staying at home and webbing and doing Netflix or video gaming...

I go out for a bike ride around Wicker Park, LSD, Michigan Ave, Downtown, or I window shop at those places. I never go to movies unless they are really good; I usually just Netflix them instead. Visiting Navy Pier is just shop and IMAX. Maybe I should hit the museums on their FREE day...

I don't go to bars or nightclubs and I hate beer and dancing.

What else is there to do when bored in Chicago? Grocery at your nearby Jewel's? ...

I posted a similar thread in the Houston Forum - What to do when bored in Houston?

Thank you for linking that. It's wonderful to see that even a place at the polar opposite of Chicago like Houston can be right on the same page with us when it comes to Jesse.

Be grateful you are not surrounded by corn, beans, cows or 3 feet of snow.

How can anyone be bored in Chicago?*

Study.

Sex.

Sleep.

In that order. Take in account I'm surrounded by corn.

Not "treated," just an honest explanation of how some people can get bored in Chicago. Or anywhere, really.

I sit on my deck with a beer smoking a cigar looking at the skyline and smile, since I live in a world class city and still afford to drink a beer and smoke a cigar.
