Have they discovered a new "lost Gospel" that says Jesus was married? | Catholic Answers

The answer would be NO.

I understand that there are several accounts of Jesus having been married and having sired children, and yes, one has recently been translated
Jesus: Married...with children? (Opinion) - CNN.com

Personally, I have never and never will understand why the idea of Jesus living the life of a mortal man should be so shocking to so many. After all, it was His purpose to come to earth as a man - hence "the Son of Man - and why should that not have included marriage and children? The early church fathers were notorious for picking and choosing what was to be accepted and included in the gospels, usually with their own selfish goals in mind. I, myself, feel it's time we Christians free our minds of church dogma and think outside the box, as it were. Just because it isn't in the accepted (and highly edited) Bible you've read as a child, does it mean it's impossible? The structure of an atom wasn't covered in the Bible - does that mean it isn't true? God reveals what He wishes, in His own good time, and perhaps this recent translation is Him revealing some truths we were unaware of. Who can say? If you can swear it isn't so, then you are saying that Matthew 19:26 is false.

Leave it to the fiction writer like Dan Brown to come up and bring intrigues to the unbelieving world to justify their unbelief in the gospel from Christ ....So the lost forbidden gospel by Dan Brown which Holy Spirit would say ``Trash it ``

More nonsense from drooling non-believers obsessed with Mary Magdalene and sexuality, and who don't believe in the divinity of Jesus.

Jesus came for one reason only, and it wasn't to marry and have children.

Actually he does it for fame and money, which is the basis for a lot of these claims.

I can just see the problem with Jesus having children, thinking of the decedents. How would they be treated when they have God in their genes. They would be abused by all kinds of crazy stuff.

Mentions a Zecharias Realtor who probably brokered the deal on Jesus' tomb between Joseph of Arimathea and the family members. I guess real estate was a hot commodity even in Israel in 30 AD.
