I'm very surprised with all this talk of rapture-tribulation-antichrist nonsense that no one ever mentions Zephaniah. Right in the very first chapter God lays out exactly what He plans to do to mankind in the Day of Judgement:

of all who live on the earth.
Pretty serious stuff--no 7-year tribulation, no antichrist, probably no rapture, although pre-tribbers can argue the Lord will deliver the faithful before He utterly wipes all men off the face of the earth suddenly "in the twinking of an eye".

Zephaniah 1 is broken into three parts of this prophecy
Zephaniah 1:1-3 is the warning of coming destruction. Zephaniah 1:4-13 is focusing against Judah
and what God often does is in prophecy to show that what happens to Judah \ Isreal, God "telescopes" the prophecy to what will happen on the Last Day
Zephaniah 1:14-18 is The Great Day of the Lord.
Scripture only teaches the singular return of Christ, The great day of the Lord
...... Millennialism is a distortion of scripture
...... pre-tribulation, post-tribulation is a distortion of scripture
However:
....... the "rapture" 1 Thessalonians 4:17 happens but it occures on The great day of the Lord
....... the anti-christ is not none sense when the power is already in the world 2 Thessalonians 2:7
....... the anti-christ will be revealed for every one to see because the
2 Thessalonians 2:8
Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming.
"the splendor of his coming" 2 Thessalonians 2:7
.........is the same event as "The great day of the Lord" Zephaniah 1:14-18
................. as "WhentheSonofMancomesin his glory" Matthew 25:31

God's Wrath upon this creation is not for his church. This doesn't mean their won't be testing.

But there is a .0001% elite, a cabal of men who are so evil that they have literally forced the whole world to bow down and worship the economic system they have set up. Families like the Rothchilds (whose fortunes have been estimated at roughly 125 TRILLION dollars) have been building this system over the last 1000 years or so. This is the "spirit of antichrist" John and Paul refer to and if you have a bank account, unwittingly you are worshipping the "Beast", which is the system that runs the entire world right now.

But Paul doesn't speak of an economic antichrist. Paul says he is the man of lawlessness .. not the families of the super rich of the modern history.
One can't trace them back to 2 Thessalonians 2:7
For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work
I haven't yet seen where economics itself be:
displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders and 2 Thessalonians 2:9
Jesus claims it is only through him can we come to the Father

There is only one such "he" that fits the discription ...
the "he" is not a person per say, but an postion that comes from within Christianity.

The Scripture is clear that God's Wrath starts in Revelation 6 increasing in "birth pangs" climaxing at the return of Christ in Revelation 19. The Millennium is mentioned in Revelation 20. The nearest earth to us is Gliese 581 c, a planet orbiting the red dwarf star Gliese 581. It is the second planet discovered in the system and the third in order from the star. Haven't looked through my telescope lately to see if anyone is waving back at me.
