Well..IMHO...for me..I dont fear knowledge..but..but..I also think that things man says are truths..if that man made truth does not line up with the Bible..is false. Im not afraid of reading a Harry Potter book because I think it change my mind..I dont like reading it because I dont wanna tangle my mind with things that dont need to be there..same reason I dont subcribe to Playboy...
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things Phil 4:8 ***i dont necessarily believe that some are afraid that it will change their belief..they just choose to stay away from things that are considered UNGodly..and I took karate..HAYYY YAAA..
Hope I can rep ya on this arguy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!if not I owe you one. and watch out with the karate" before you hurt someone!!!
Well, I think the Bible defines them. Also, I'm sorry to have to say that there was a time when I did dabble a bit in the occult. (hope no one passes out here from shock! But kaykay wasn't born a Christian!) So I probably know a little bit more about the occult than I should..
Go kaykay !
SMACKDOWN....................... How else can a person have knowledge first hand, Love your response girl!!!
Your faith... builds hedges in your life. It protects you . Semper Fi... the Marines do not say always strong... they say always faithful. For those that find themselves "strong", this is where your gaurd is at it's weakest. Pride is faithless strength, and God hates pride. Pearl Harbor, where the pride of the American Fleet was, is a prime example of strength gone awry. Peter the Apostle, was a strong, proud man with a strong personality who told Jesus he would never deny him... guess what? Again, reliance upon our own strength.
Faith is the absence of fear, faith is unassuming, never pretentious, never arrogant, and is worn like a shield.
Well..........................You deserve a rep on this one Dave!!!!
Peter was a feisty fellow wasn't he.(lighthearted humor).. I try not to take myself too seriously...It can lead to pride and a fall...................
