Adversity put him on the cross, but it is justified according to the Sacrificial System of men.

I don't presume .... You've told enough times why you have to deny what the true teaching of the atonement was for.

Never once have I said anything of the sort. I deny your understanding of it based on salvation from eternal hell.

blessings ya'll
I guess you or pcamps weren't there to refute Jesus' understanding with all of his bantering.
Matthew 11:20-23
Then Jesus began to denounce the towns in which most of his miracles had been performed, because they did not repent.
“Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida!
And you, Capernaum, will you be lifted to the heavens? No ..."
then there was the time:
Luke 6:17, 24-27
a great number of people from all over Judea, from Jerusalem, and from the coastal region around Tyre and Sidon, who had come to hear him and to be healed of their diseases. ...
“But woe to you who are rich, for you have already received your comfort.
Woe to you who are well fed now, for you will go hungry.
Woe to you who laugh now, for you will mourn and weep."

Satanic deception is always geared to eliminate following Christ in love for us all. That is the only way evil can continue to exist. Our ignorant ancestors took the "carnal milk" truth that Christ has saved us . . . and they made believing that enough. This suits the satanic purpose because it took the focus off of FOLLOWING Christ in "love of God and each other" and being sanctified under His love for us all . . . and turned it into believing things ABOUT Christ. The central truth that Christ saved us is there . . . but the desired purpose of believing it is lost . . . i.e., following Christ's commands to "love God and each other" daily and repent when we don't.

This artful deception began early when we were still carnal savages and has been perpetuated as a sign of Faith in God ever since. The solid food of Love has been buried in a fear of hell or damnation. Very, very sad that the false teachings are considered the truth because it is easier just to believe than to DO. It appeals to our human nature to avoid the difficult and unpleasant . . . so it has triumphed over the truth Christ taught and displayed unambiguously by His life and death. The excuse that we cannot achieve the perfection Christ did has been twisted to stop people from even trying. We do not need to achieve the perfect love of Christ for us all. We simply need to achieve a resonant harmony with Him through "love of God and each other" daily and repenting when we don't. His perfection and grace is sufficient to cover our inadequacies . . . but we have at least to be trying.

Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, because you travel around on sea and land to make one proselyte.
And when he becomes one, you make him twice as much a son of hell as yourselves.

Not that the rest of the post was not, but that this part really expresses what I have seen here.

Add a bit of cogent copy and paste Christianity from 2 Peter 1:3His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. 4Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.

5For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; 6and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; 7and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love. 8For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9But whoever does not have them is nearsighted and blind, forgetting that they have been cleansed from their past sins.

One can disrecard the Atonement all they want to their own destruction and play with words and human logic to no end but when God declares a thing to be so, it is so. It is eternal, unchangeing and it is His logic of spiritual reality not our own so that salvation is of Him and not man made philosophy. Those who believe in the Atonement/Grace are not only forgiven but are given the power of a new spiritual life.

It is the power of a new life [born again in spirit by the Spirit] that begins with the Atonement that takes away the sin through mercy even though we have rejected Him. But if when all is said and done you still refuse to let Him to bear the sin through that spiritual transaction then you bear it on your own for eternity. God made the Atonement of Christ the focal point of salvation for the whole world if they beleive what He said. Because God is one and His Truth is one standard, there is no rival/no other God or logic of man that can compete.

By what the world calls foolishness/the cross of Christ, God has chosen to save the world, that the wisdom will be of God and not man. The Good News is that one can be translated back into being a part of the Trinity through Christ or the bad news is that you will remain dead in soul without the hope of Eternal Life now with God and Eternal Life of a greator measure when you die. Sin is only paid for if you receive the payment and that payment includes with it the power of New Life in Christ. This is His earth, His creation and He runs the show how He sees fit with long suffering, not willing that any would perish.

Again, what God declares to be so, it is so. No one can add to it or take from it. Let God be true for then you will find your way but every other way is a lie that leads to the death of soul.

Thankfully you do not hold the truth.
