One can disrecard the Atonement all they want to their own destruction and play with words and human logic to no end but when God declares a thing to be so, it is so. It is eternal, unchangeing and it is His logic of spiritual reality not our own so that salvation is of Him and not man made philosophy. Those who believe in the Atonement/Grace are not only forgiven but are given the power of a new spiritual life.
It is the power of a new life [born again in spirit by the Spirit] that begins with the Atonement that takes away the sin through mercy even though we have rejected Him. But if when all is said and done you still refuse to let Him to bear the sin through that spiritual transaction then you bear it on your own for eternity. God made the Atonement of Christ the focal point of salvation for the whole world if they beleive what He said. Because God is one and His Truth is one standard, there is no rival/no other God or logic of man that can compete.
By what the world calls foolishness/the cross of Christ, God has chosen to save the world, that the wisdom will be of God and not man. The Good News is that one can be translated back into being a part of the Trinity through Christ or the bad news is that you will remain dead in soul without the hope of Eternal Life now with God and Eternal Life of a greator measure when you die. Sin is only paid for if you receive the payment and that payment includes with it the power of New Life in Christ. This is His earth, His creation and He runs the show how He sees fit with long suffering, not willing that any would perish.
Again, what God declares to be so, it is so. No one can add to it or take from it. Let God be true for then you will find your way but every other way is a lie that leads to the death of soul.

In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.
Romans 3:25
God presented Christ as a sacrificeof atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith.
God declared what the law requires and Jesus keep the law perfectly... this "refute your interpretation" is finally directed at God.

As your post speaks deeply from the heart of God to a lost world revealing God's will for mankind in hopes of hearing the Spirit in whom draws the heart of men and women, children to the Lord Jesus Christ.
As He (Holy Spirit) yearns for the day of God's divine appointment for each and every soul born by turning their lost hearts to seek after the love of the truth of His perfect, precious Son, Jesus Christ who gave up everything on the Cross so that they/we may have life, a life forgiven for all eternally by and through His Atonement.... no man or woman can or will ever be able too pay the price of the sacrifice of what Christ did for their life on the Cross, amen !!

Our ignorant ancestors took the "carnal milk" truth that Christ has saved us . . . and they made believing that enough. This suits the satanic purpose because it took the focus off of FOLLOWING Christ in "love of God and each other" and being sanctified under His love for us all . . . and turned it into believing things ABOUT Christ. The central truth that Christ saved us is there . . . but the desired purpose of believing it is lost . . . i.e., following Christ's commands to "love God and each other" daily and repent when we don't.
This artful deception began early when we were still carnal savages and has been perpetuated as a sign of Faith in God ever since. The solid food of Love has been buried in a fear of hell or damnation. Very, very sad that the false teachings are considered the truth because it is easier just to believe than to DO. It appeals to our human nature to avoid the difficult and unpleasant . . . so it has triumphed over the truth Christ taught and displayed unambiguously by His life and death. The excuse that we cannot achieve the perfection Christ did has been twisted to stop people from even trying. We do not need to achieve the perfect love of Christ for us all. We simply need to achieve a resonant harmony with Him through "love of God and each other" daily and repenting when we don't. His perfection and grace is sufficient to cover our inadequacies . . . but we have at least to be trying.
