The major theme of the Bible is that God created, His creation rebelled, and he mercifully redeemed his creation. In Genesis we see the beginnings of the plan to do so. In Revelation we read of the 2nd coming and his plan coming to fruition.
It is quite obvious that you haven't read it in the spirit in which it is written.

So you do don't see things like Joseph, Moses and Jesus going into Egypt and out of Egypt. You don't see man losing his senses only to come to them. It's all about how sinful and eternal hell deserving we all are. You can be forgiven for reading the scriptures with this mindset when you cannot see beyond your sinful self and your confession of I'm a wicked old sinner saved by grace. Believe on The Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved from seeing yourself and the world as no good for nothing filthy rags.

I'm aware that they went into and out of Egypt. What's your point?

Please enlighten me. Show me a verse that says man's problem is that he needs to come to his senses.

That's what the Bible says. Romans 3:23 -- "All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God." Romans 6:23 -- "The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life".

The Bible says we are sinners from birth...so that's what I believe.

You did not say why you believe it is Not a literal story ?

Do you believe Jesus ever existed ?
Gospel writer Luke recorded from the important Jewish temple records Jesus' genealogical family tree ending a Luke 3 v 38.
No one at that time frame said Luke was wrong including the religious leaders.
Even at the recorded time of 1st Chronicles 1 v 1 No one disputed Adam.

True God created is important according to Revelation 4 v 11 and that God will redeem but what was the major theme of Jesus' preaching and teaching according to Luke 4 v 43 but redeeming through the ' kingdom of God '.
Jesus instructed his followers to follow through on that same theme of the good news of God's kingdom.- Matt. 24 v 14
The first prophecy at Genesis 3 v 15 is in connection to the symbolic woman of Revelation 12 v 1 in connection to Jesus being king of God's kingdom. At Daniel 7 vs 13,14,18,27 Jesus is given the kingdom. The kingdom of Daniel 2 v 44.
That is why Jesus gives the illustration of Luke 19 vs 11-15 about the kingdom not immediately or instantly appearing, but that Jesus, as the nobleman, would first go away to a far country [ heaven ] before his return in kingdom glory at the coming 'time of separation' at - Matthew 25 vs 31,32. So, from Genesis through Revelation the Bible's theme highlighted is the ' good news of God's kingdom ' in the hands of Christ Jesus as the solution to mankind's problems.
That is why we pray ' thy kingdom come.....'

3.3 Adam responded: "Don't say such things Eve lest the Lord God bring upon us some other curse. How could it be that I should raise my hand against my own flesh? Let us arise and seek for ourselves something by which we might live so that we might not perish."
4.1 Walking about, they searched for many days but did not find anything like they had in paradise. They only found what animals eat.
4.2 Adam said to Eve: "The Lord gave these things to animals and beasts to eat. Ours, however was the angelic food.
4.3 But justly and worthily do we lament before the face of God who made us. Let us perform a great penitence. Perhaps the Lord God will yield and have mercy on us and give us something by which we might live."
That explains the animal sacrifices, "let's eat!"

And when he came to himself (his senses), he said:

'How many hired servants of my father have more than enough
bread to eat, yet I perish with hunger!'

The point Is, scripture is not a history lesson, it is a life lesson and lesson about our journey through this life. We all end up in Egypt and are called out of it

Jesus came to change our concept of God, ourselves and our neighbor. Tell me what happens when Light dawns upon someone ?.

No mention of eternal hell. A quick question how come when a Christian sins it does not end up with wages(eternal hell I'm guessing ?) of death, but when someone who is not a Christian does ?.

Actually your bible tells you, you are God's workmanship. I find it odd that you have such a poor concept of his workmanship.

Please show me a verse that says that.

See my last answer for this one in regards to your filthy rags, poor wretch of a person concept you have about yourself.

Love your neighbor as yourself.

How can I love my neighbor as myself when I have such a poor image of myself?

Jesus Christ changes our concept of God,self and our neighbor.
