So even Jesus is subject to the VizioApprovedVersion?

Does Jesus know you're deciding who has the correct understanding of who Jesus is?

This is to say nothing about the character of the people themselves--they may be very nice people.

Why is that important to a Christian who follows Christ and His instructions to His disciples? What conceivable difference would it make in their dedication to Christ and their discipleship? Why would they have to have a correct understanding of who Jesus is? How would that affect their Christianity and dedication to Him?

Is that your definition of who a Christian is?

No I believe that was a question not a definition.

He seemed to be suggesting that a Christian was one devoted to following the teachings of Jesus.

What if a person has your "correct understanding of who Jesus is" but they commit acts of evil with evil intentions and their every thought is far from him?

Perhaps: I know that's what I believe.
But what is your response to his questions?

Stop evading and dodging, Vizio. Those were questions and you seem to want to dodge answering them.

See 2 Corinthians 11:3-4.

We learn from God's trusted Word that others will come preaching another Jesus, a different spirit, and another gospel.

See 1 Corinthians 15:1 for the true Jesus, spirit, and gospel.
This is the only true Jesus who is the way, truth and life.

See Galatians 1:6-9 and heed the warning for preaching of another Jesus or gospel.
