We have nothing to do with our salvation, but we DO have something to do with our sanctification under Christ's agape love for us all. We need to love God and each other every day and repent when we don't to attain the cover of Christ' perfect agape love for our imperfections. That is what those verses refer to, NOT salvation. We are all saved either way (our entire species).

Our salvation was NOT OFFERED, it was accomplished. It is finished and WE have nothing to do with it. You and your mentors have created this OFFER nonsense.

Wrong. Men interpreted the need for sanctification as the need to accept salvation. But we have nothing to do with our salvation. Jesus did that for us. A Savior SAVES. He doesn't OFFER salvation.

You should rely on Jesus, all of Him.

Being a Christian does NOT mean we have to stop using our brains.

If you have stopped using logic and reason in favor of relying on Jesus I hope you do not drive. Or have access to matches.

You are not relying on Jesus, jimmie. You are relying on a book compiled by men who interpreted Jesus to achieve their agendas. You have to use the Spirit of agape love (Who IS god) that Jesus revealed and unambiguously demonstrated to find the wheat from the tares (chaff) in the Bible. Your blind acceptance of everything is lazy and dangerous. Jesus will not be pleased.

Reason and logic are fine. But to reject half of what Jesus said (and invent a theology based on that incomplete story) is disengenuous.

Jesus revealed a lot of things-I will not reject any of it. You have no proof that half of His words were changed/misunderstood.

Is it an offer?

Yes, it is. You can accept it, or refuse it:

The kingdom of heaven is like a king who prepared a wedding banquet for his son. He sent his servants to those who had been invited to the banquet to tell them to come, but they refused to come.
.
.
how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing.
