It is a defense mechanism. Finn has no honest way to address points made about the barbarity of some of the doctrines he so desperately holds, so he falls back on the idea that pointing out that fact is hurtful to those who refuse to acknowledge obvious facts.

You are just as sensitive on the political forum you are always on too. It seems that when anyone disagrees with you, you resort to claiming you are being hated on.

It is not surprising so many are stepping up to defend and justify insults and personal attacks, and not surprisingly they are the very same people who pretend to promote "agape love". What they bring here is the EXACT OPPOSITE of agape love.
And let's not pretend this is about disagreement about beliefs, because it is not. I stepped in to point out the ugliness in pcamps posts and he was not even talking to me. I am simply sick and tired of seeing the disrespect and loathing he, and many others here show towards posters who are here only to share their faith,

Luckily no one behaves like this in the real world. It is easy to insults strangers in the safety of the internet, but the real world has a way of weeding out such behavior.
