Jimmie, what are the characteristics of God according to the scriptures ?. Why are you and all other bible fundamentalists unwilling to answer this ? Because you know what the scriptures says does not support your beliefs. This is what Jesus meant when he said men love darkness over light.

Isaiah 40:28 - Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth Does not become weary or tired. His understanding is inscrutable.
John 4:24 - God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.
1 Timothy 6:15-16 - He who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords, 16 who alone possesses immortality and dwells in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see.
Hebrews 6:18 - ...it is impossible for God to lie...
1 John 1:5 - This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all.
1 John 4:8- The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
Revelation 1:8 - “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”
The underlined statements are the Lord Himself making the proclamation.

Let me add to what others have said. God is also omnipotent as seen in His creation of the universe. He is omniscient seen in His fulfilled prophecies. He is omnipresent seen in his promise to be in all of His children and has promises never to leave or forsake us.
God during His incarnation was the Light of the World Jn 812). Not the physical light but the spiritual light that has sown into the hearts of men to give them the knowledge of the glory of Christ(2 Cor 6:6).
During His incarnation He is also the Bread of life(Jn 6:35) that gives all who eat it spiritual life and growth.
He is also the Door(Jn 10:9) that those who enter will have eternal life.
He is also the good Shepherd(Jn 10:11 who is the protector of our spiritual life.
He is also the way, the truth and the life(Jn 14:6), the only means of true life.
He is also the TRUE Vine, the only source of life for the branches attached to Him.
He is also the resurrection and the life; the guaranteeror of eternal life.
This is only a pittance of what God is.
There are 2 examples of God love: His creation of man and the death of His Son for man's sins.
I hope that will help you, but since you are going to find fault with it, it wont.
