Christianity is NOT a religion. It is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and obediance to his word.
NO religious organization can get you to heaven. ONLY Jesus and obediance to his holy word can.

A think we need to ask ourself some questions, regardless of denomination faith. Also John 4:1 tells us to try the spirits whether they are of God.
Is a church teaching what Jesus taught according to the scriptures?
Is Jesus the main focus of this church?
Is the word of God the main emphasis?
There are many warning in the Bible about false doctrine and teaching.
In 2 John 1:7 it states,
"For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist."
1 John 4:1
"Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone into the world."
I was deceived for 25 years and God Brought me "out of her" and into a church that FOLLOWS the bible. Thank you Jesus. I now know his word!
I believe the Bible is the word of God. We are warned in the Bible that many false deceivers and teachers will enter the world.
Jesus even warned us in Matthew 24:4-5. "And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many."
Therefore we must try the spirits whether they are of God.
For the scriptures tell us that many people will be deceived because of this false teachings and doctrines.
If we believe that the word of God is truth,
Are we going to heed this warning?
You belief is a fact. Obediance to the scripture is the ONLY way.

ok once again, there is only one God, but not only one way to get to HIM. the Bible you read is a baby compared to other religious scriptures--why is yours better than any others? you must give a reason and not continuously regurgitate words without logic or proof. you may believe what you read, and LET others believe what they read!

How to get born again: You must REPENT!!!! To repent is to see you condition as God sees it and express sorrow. I this case, you repent of your sin....ALL your sin including Homosexuality "For Godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation" (2 Corinthians 7:10) You must admit to God that you are a sinner deserving of Hell because of your sin.
Repentance is also a sincere turning away from sin to God. The bible states "...that they should repent and turn to God" (Acts 26:20) You must believe! Believing is more than just acknowledging that Jesus Christ exists. The Bible says "the devils also believe, and tremble" (James 2:19). True believing is placing your complete confidence in Him and His ability to save you. "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved" (Acts 4:12)
You must believe with all your heart that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that He died on the cross to save you. "That if thou shalt confess with they mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved, For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness" (Romans 10:9-10) You Must Ask
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Romans 10:13) To call upon the Lord is to ask Jesus Christ to forgive your sin and save you from an eternity in Hell. Yuu must pray and ask to be cleansed of all your sin ask to be forgiven "for...with the mouth confession is made unto salvation" (Romans 10:10) You Must Receive!
To receive something, you must take it! Salvation is offered as a free gift of God. "For the wages of sin is DEATH: but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 6:23)
The Bible says, "For by grace are ye saved...it is the gift of God:" (Ephesians 2:8) Like
"But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name." (John 1:12) You must pray and tell the Lord Jesus that you wish to receive His Wonderful gift of eternal life and will follow his word.
You have come to the place in your life where you must make a decision. If you chose to accept the payment made by the Lord Jesus Christ for your sin, then you simply need to bow your head and pray.
Tell Jesus, in your own words, that you are sorry for all the sins you have ever committed in your whole life. Ask Jesus to forgive you and save you from hell.
Tell Jesus you are willing to receive Him as your Lord and Savior. Let him know you want to accept His gift of eternal life and promise to follow him and his word the rest of your life. Remember, Jesus Christ NEVER turns anyone away!
