Who is doing that? I certainly haven't.

You could be right, but I prefer to see it as a reaction to attempted impositions.

No, we all have to take responsibility for our own behavior by healing the issues within that cause us to have the need to try to control others. Lashing out isn't the answer and if those people succeed in silencing people like BF with their contempt and shaming and other fear tactics, it won't change their own inner demons. They will simply find other people to target in order to scratch their internal "itch".

Mystic, we've got to be about the business of our own spiritual maturity, not trying to police other people. You can't fight hate with hate, and you honestly can't fight other people who are trying to control you by trying to control them (not with any real or enduring positive impact). Wouldn't you agree that our responsibility as individuals is to find the freedom of love within ourselves and be a light towards freedom for all in that way?

I agree pleroo

And it’s not just the individuals

When people group together there is a magnification of what can be done both good and bad, We do need structure, we do need law and order, we do need self control, we do need freedom, we do need balance, etc

Society can not function without those things

I do not disagree with you, Pleroo. I just recognize the existence of triggers that inevitably build up and cause these kinds of abreactions. The calls for the death of Justice Thomas are triggered by fears about Roe v. Wade which have been accumulating for four years. It is not just an inner motivation.

Great word, "triggers". That's it exactly. People are forever being triggered. And the more we can each neutralize those triggers within ourselves, the less reactive we will be. People need to be pointed toward the need and ability to heal their own triggers. And you can't shame people into that. You can't threaten them. You can't force them. People have been trying to do that to each other forever. When will we learn?

I cannot forecast that, Pleroo, after all, Jesus demonstrated it as unambiguously as possible over 2020 years ago and it still persists.
