That is debatable if the torture actually helped. So you are ok with people being tortured?

Really? Another one of these UR threads? What a yawn. I mean, really, why would anyone want to keep bringing up the news that Jesus Christ is the Savior of all people over and over and over again? Just because Paul says that God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation, that in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation, does that really mean you need to keep harping on this? Is it really such a big deal being entrusted with the message that we would want to spend all this time making sure we're sharing the message without perverting it, or defaming the character of the God who entrusted us with it?

I don't know, lego. I think you should just get a life.

This believer does not think torture is a good thing..in this life or in the one to follow..
This believer doesn't believe that just a little bit of torture is a good thing either..
This believer believes John 3:16 which needs no interpretation

You can say it is debatable, fact is we haven't been attacked since 9-11 so that debate is pretty much thrown out the window.

It is debatable however that we can use other means to extract information but torture DOES WORK.

As far as me being ok with torture? I wouldn't do it but if my government made it legal with very valid reason, stipulations, regulations etc....furthermore it can save my family's lives and way of life to thwart evil men from doing evil deeds then I would not object with the government's use of torture.

LOL. All the people who responded to this thread with "Oh no, not again!" My response was tongue in cheek. I am grateful for Lego's tenacity and couldn't disagree more with those who find this subject something to mock.
