During the now-distant past, the building had been a Parkview grocery store. A food market that'd now be called "yuppie," The Big Melon, was the anchor business after its owner bought and renovated the building and moved the store from across Vine St into expanded quarters.

Right - I've probably got it backwards. The only reference to it
on hand is an ad in the 1972 Roundup reading:

Last I ever heard of Rob Paris was when studio was on Galbraith near McIntoshes. As far as I remember, went out of business in the 80s??

Correct, it was a landmark on Galbraith Rd thanks to the wall of windows on the front of the building - which made quite a mess when the windows blew out during the 1969 tornado. At the center of the building's facade was a large light-blue panel with a silver "RP" logo. true Cincinnatian. My parents have a wall full of Rob Paris pics depicting goyguy and his siblings in our earlier years. I used to hate photo sessions w/Rob Paris, lol...we always had to get all dressed up, and he'd use eye-burning flashbulbs and do a gazillion takes.

FTFT is the store which went from Wyoming to Hartwell and then to Hyde Park. The book shop probably just went out of business rather than relocate. FTFT bought ad space in my yearbook, too.

FTFT is the store which went from Wyoming to Hartwell and then to Hyde Park. The book shop probably just went out of business rather than relocate. FTFT bought ad space in my yearbook, too.
