Secaucus Junction

Used by 50,000 daily , expected to rise to 120,000 by 2030

Amtrak does not stop here and often races through at up to 90-100mph

Electric lines

Northeast Corridor , North Jersey Coast line , Gladstone branch , Morris and Essex line,Montclair State University line

Future : MOM Network , ARC Tunnel ramp , Lackawanna line

Diesel lines

Main line , Bergen line , Pascack Valley line , Port Jervis line

Future : West Shore line to Newburgh

Future Light Rail : Hoboken Terminal , Journal SQ , Secaucus JCT & North Bergen JCT - Secaucus JCT

Its mostly empty except when trains pull in and passengers get on and off.

Nice pics of Secaucus Transfer. I was there today--parked my car in the lot. It is empty most of the time except for people switching trains, but that was its point.

Most ppl don't get why its not full. But its a Transfer station , your there to switch trains , not sit down and relax like at Newark Penn.

Lol the bums sure love to sit down and relax at NWK Penn. We call those benches in the lobby "bum-beds".
