Out of these two cities, which do you think has the better light rail system (better costs, ridership, on-time performance, better safety, sanitation, better appearance, among others)??
Passengers Per Revenue Hour:
Denver: 42.2
SD: 85.6
Operating Cost Per Passenger Trip:
Denver: $2.02
SD: $1.49

I've never been on Denver's light rail, but just looking at the stats San Diego has a more efficient system compared to Denver. I like the look of SD's trains too as it has three different styles, I've only seen one style in Denver.
I have used both extensively. I like the look of the SD vehicles (both the newer and older ones) better than Denver's, but both systems seem pretty comparable and comprehensive for a light rail line and both have quite a bit of dedicated right of way outside of Downtown.
I don't get why SD is called the Trolley though. What happens if SD installs streetcars?
Denvers. I've riden both. Neither are impressive compared to the other city i have lived in (Chicago)..but I'd have to say Denvers is a better expirence to ride on, and gets you to more places i'd like to go.
"Their light right is very nice and classy and goes to actual places."
Please expand on this thought for us all!!!!!!!!!!!! What actual places does sd go that Denver's does not?
