As well as a mini-golf course, submarine, skating rink, casino, and hotel.
Chill out......WEM is bigger and better.....and yet almost nobody knows about it.

It's near Philadelphia. I can understand why people wouldn't know where it is, though, because most things Philadelphia are overlooked by the general population in this country.

ROFLOL! WEM is probably the most famous mall in the entire world. Many times more people know about it than Mall of America. Mall of America is really only known in the United States. West Edmonton Mall is world-famous. I've been in countries thousands of miles away and told people I'm from Edmonton, and almost everybody knows West Edmonton Mall without it even being mentioned.Anyone who has never heard of West Edmonton Mall has been living in a cave without human contact the last 30 years. Go to Australia or Japan though, and mention Mall of America, and people will give you a blank stare. Outside of the USA it's almost unknown.

The mall of america has more then twice the annuel visitor as the West Edmonton mall. Also the Mall of america has direct flights from japan going to the Twincities international airport for the soul purpose of going to the Mall of america.

That last thing I would ever go to a mall for is a roller coaster. Period.

Thats because the King of Prussia Mall is 45min away from the city of Philly and some of the most dangerous ghettos in the world.

The fact that there are ghetto's in Philadelphia has nothing to do with someone not hearing of KOP. KOP doesn't have amusement parks or water slides. It's a shopping mall.

I think "biggest" is almost totally irrelevant in this comparison. They're malls. Like, is 4 starbucks locations qualitatively "better" than three?

If anything, I think KoP is too disjointed & sprawling as being a result of being an agglomeration of mall expansions. Mall Of America has a lot more clarity in it's design and planning, since it was done all at once with a particular intent, and it presents at least a somewhat more unique experience to the visitor.

That said, I have basically zero desire to spend any time at either.
