My guess is the Amtrak improvements would only shave 2 minutes

maybe a maglev to connect them (Stops in NYC, Metropark, Trenton, and Philly)

Arent there parts of Central Jersey all ready getting both NY and Philly local stations on Cable, Fios and Dish? wonder what market these area's are considered to be in by Television standards

Mercer, Burlington and Ocean counties have been getting both for as long as I can remember (the 80s).

Found the Nielsen DMA map. Looks like they draw the boundary to include Mercer with Phila. and Ocean with NYC. But the networks do overlap in these areas.

Not New York, Not Philadelphia (Pretty funny that is their tag line)

but is the best traffice for traversing NJ, though you can get 1010 or 1060 through the whole of central NJ

Ha! yeah, they're proud to be jersey. i can respect that

and yeah, its the best thing for the drive up the Tpke to get a head start on the traffic. you just have to sit through 15 mins of cheezy music..

i noticed the 1010, 1060 overlap too. those 2 stations are almost identical sans the local news. i also noticed that we can get 66WFAN in Philly lol. the reception is not as clear, but pretty decent!

The whole Boston to DC corridor is going to be one Megalopolis. You already have Philly claiming Southern half of NJ into Delaware. NYC the Northern half reaching further south. DC has Baltimore Delaware and into other states Boston and NYC split Connecticut. So basically.... guess NJ and Connecticut and Delaware. Are Giant Suburban areas..... Of course the King is NYC with its court of many in its Grasp.
