San Antonio has some nice new freeways, but Houston's are just enormous in comparison!

and I have been on all those highways, you must be counting the feeder roads to get up to 12 lanes.

and Houston has about 4 times the number of highways that SA does. not comparable at all.

San Antonio's narrow little streets are nothing compared to the HOuston monsters. most of the highways in SA are 3 lanes in either direction while those in houston are 6 in either direction
Yeah San Antonio is more comparable to Dallas when it comes to tiny 3 lane feeder roads that end abruptly compared to Houston's 6 laners which run the entire length of the freeway.

well 10-12 are smaller than what I am used to. and for those to be the biggest are just hard on my senses

Also take into account that Miami is a small city at 35 sq. miles whereas Houston has 539 sq. miles and you have multiple skylines. Miami is more compact & dense. Perhaps that is why they ranked Miami third but that claim was made by some architectural website I think.
I believe the rankings are by MSA.

San Antonio isn't catching up to Houston. Houston is just too big (and DFW for that matter, too).

Who is exaggerating about freeways? So, do you think San Antonio will catch up to Houston and DFW in terms of freeways?

If you add MiamiDade's Sunny Isles Beach,(and its 1 square mile of land), you add 4 more 500+ buildings.
I doubt there are any buildings in either Broward or Palm Beach that are 500+ or more but there might be a few more in MiamiDade that I don't immediately come to mind.
Ok but then what would you do add Oakland to Sanfransico or Bellevue and Tacoma to Seattle. Best to keep city proper not metro areas.
