Dallas can't make up its mind what it wants to be really. One minute its New York, the next its Vegas, the next its LA. Its the confused step child of Texas to put it quite bluntly.
See. Your true colors are really showing. Quit pretending that you do like Dallas because it's obvious that you don't.

They did the same thing in several cities if I'm not mistaken...but yeah, Dallasites do think highly of their city & most have this greater than thou attitude. They think they are the only major city that exists in this huge dynamic state we call Texas.

Just watch the local media to see that. Dallas news rarely mentions Houston as if it doesn't exist & when they do mention Houston its always something negative or very brief.

They never want to work with Houston on anything to make Texas a better, more prosperous state overall unless its to their benefit only.
I don't like Dallas. I went to one of their suburbs once that called their downtown "Sundance Square" and didn't like it. It felt like a redneck, backwards place. That's why I cant take this thread seriously, the place that gave off a redneck vibe to me even being considered a "fashion capital" for anything other than its little corner of its state is laughable. After seeing Dallas I agree they have a snobbish attitude about their city, and it reminds me of LA and NYC but those cities had things to be extremely proud of. Dallas is not beautiful and second fiddle in everything and the rednecks there think its the center of their world. Smug attitude.

I enjoyed Atlanta and Houston because they are laid back cities with down to Earth people who are humble about their cities. Dallas just sucks, its a awful attitude there

Real quick. You didn't go to Downtown Dallas nor did you go to a Dallas suburb. You simply went to Downtown Fort Worth which is the complete opposite of Dallas and is 30 miles west of Downtown Dallas.

Ya you're right but Dallasites from my travels there seem to not like "Fort Worth" much, but suggested I go and see the downtown there. I was furious with the overall treatment in Dallas. To me didn't seem like Dallasities liked "the other side" which IMO was more laid back but more redneck. I don't like the place because one side is redneck and the other is snobbish. Downtown Dallas was a ghost town, 9 P.M. and no one is there..

LMAO @ you Dallasites playing victim to this thread. Seems like to me you people make threads in your forum bashing other cities particularly Houston, Miami, and Atlanta. This is a delusional one where some Dallasite thinks Dallas is the best city on the planet

I do not bash other cities!

Three things:

1) Most of these threads were started by the same person who most Dallas posters agree is delusional.
2) Dallas posters almost never attack Atlanta and very rarely go after Miami. Its almost always between Dallas and Houston.
3) You can find threads like these for just about every city on CD.

At least now that you hate Dallas (whereas you used to say it was an up and comer), will you at least shut up about LA?

I distinctly remember you bragging about how Houston could care less and was completely independant about Dallas and referenced the fact that they never mention Dallas in the media down there as proof.

So when Houston does it, its because they are independant and when Dallas does it, its because they dont care about anyone but themselves?

I wish you would just be honest about your feelings toward Dallas instead of bulls**ting all the time.

I did not send you any rep messages like that. Whoever told you that guessed incorrectly. Ive been getting harrassing messages as well.

And I was wrong about one thing, it was Ghost of Blasphemy that said Dallas was an up and comer and trashed LA, not you. For that Im sorry.

However, I have never repped you at all much less sent you harrassing messages.

Report me if you wish, I dont really care. But the mods will look at the messages and be able to tell you they didnt come from me.

As another point of clarification, Sundance Square is in Fort Worth, not Dallas. Its a place I enjoy from time to time as well.
