Yeah, that was hard to read. I seriously worry about the education levels in our country.

Honestly I love Miami! Very much!!

And definitely in my opinion Miami stacks in the 3rd best skyline in the country! But I give this to Chicago. It has a better skyline and a larger skyline and a taller skyline and a more integrated skyline BY FAR.

Chicago:

it isn't a competition

The bell is tolling for Miami... not only does Chicago blow away in terms of quantity...it does much more so in terms of quality...not to mention breadth and depth of architectural styles.

God Damn Chicago Overload up in here.

Skylines within skylines
This one right here especially could easily compete with many other skylines

I certainly wouldn't say Miami's waterfront is *way better*... though it is tropical in nature.

Also by couple, you mean 3. Chicago has over 20 of these. Including several that have another 700 feet on top of yours...

Why don't we take it down to 500 feet, something Miami at least has more examples of than I can count on one hand...

Miami has 27 over 500 ft which is impressive for sure (of which 23 were built in the last 5 years so I'm sure they contain quite a range of architectural styles...)... Chicago has over 100 in this height range, covering a total of 85 years...

lets not even get into what architectural critics have to say about these buildings, that will be quite the chuckle.

And yes I have been to Miami in the last 5 or 6 years, have you been to Chicago in the last 50 or 60 years??

Alacran as I am sure you know that is just the South Loop/Museum Campus area ... And the building you see on the left, surely could compete. There are only 2 buildings in Miami taller than that one. In Chicago however, the tall range goes up to another 725 feet higher than that, you would literally need two of them stacked on top of each other to reach the top of the Willis Tower. So basically you Miami guys just picture your tallest building, then put another one of them on top and you get the height idea of Chicago.

Miami would not be visible in these conditions...

God, we don't need to see a gazillion photographs to get the picture. Not everyone wants to wait for all these freakin pictures to load people. One or two good ones would have sufficed.
