All great neighborhoods, would be very happy to live in all five of them.

1.) West Village
2.) Back Bay
3.) Rittenhouse Square
4.) Lincoln Park
5.) Georgetown

Rittenhouse is a universe above the rest. Please stop comparing Philly to other cities. You know you'll lose to Philly.

Georgetown is also a college town, which makes it stand out a bit (for positive or negative).

You're right. The Champ's Elyses in Paris, Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, and everything that Manhattan could possibly offer, hell even the nicest beach in Maui, they all got nothing on Philly .

The village and Lincoln Park both have major universities within their boundaries as well.

Have always loved the near north side of Chicago. No place like it in the world.

I would ALWAYS put "WOMEN" as one of my criteria. Gotta LOVE those Chicago, Wisconsin and Iowa girls working in those law firms and banks downtown.

Does not get much better.

Lincoln Park in the summer with girls going to the beach or getting drunk near and around that area, it's awesome.

NYU is just outside the West Village, isn't it? I've never been to Chicago, so I apologize for missing that obvious comparison.
