Bakersfield, Inland Empire, and Fresno seem less than stellar compared to Sacramento. Crime, obesity, poverty, pollution, low income, all issues that plague Bakersfield, Inland Empire, Modesto, Visalia, Stockton, Merced, Eureka, and to a lesser extent Fresno.

I'd imagine Sacramento commanding a higher value than compared to these.

"Do you even ski/board? Colorado is all hype, corporate, very expensive. The snow in Tahoe is just as good as Colorado if not better."

You just lost with this post! Please show me 1 expert just 1 that says the sierra have better snow, or that Colorado is all hype! Yes, you get more snow, but it is NOT better! So now run along and find me a magazine article that supports your claim! Until than, go back to your little sactown (which Denver handily beat head to head in a poll as you well remember)!!!

As long as 50% or more of the scoring is Broncos scoring I'll be happy!

You know I'm justing toying with you. Seriously, in my opinion, Tahoe is truely as good as Colorado if not better. I grew-up sking Tahoe, and I always heard how great the powder is in Utah and Colorado, until I started skiing them as an adult, and i've never thought the resorts and snow were better than Tahoe, and I've never found better views/scenery than Tahoe. If you can ski the packed powder of Tahoe you can ski anywhere.

I also found it interesting how all the hype about Denver and it's proximity to Skiing. You would think its 15mins away like SLC is to its resorts. Sacramento Metro is 1.25 to 2hours from Tahoe resorts, just as close as Denver is to it's resorts.

Colorado definitely has better resorts overall than Tahoe. Bigger and better resorts that cost about the same. Tahoe is REALLY overpriced now for what it is.

San Diego. Beaches, nice weather, beautiful scenery and tropical plants. While Denver may have better mountains, San Diego's mountains aren't too bad either.
