I think almost anyone can feel like they belong in a city like NYC, which is what I love about it. I also really like Boston, Providence, and Cleveland. I've never been to Philly, but I have a feeling I'd like it there too.
New York ....when i went there for the first time to handle business i really felt i belonged there. Everytime i have went since then ,it s like my second home. Im planning on moving there.
Where you felt personally compatible with the people there. Your long lost home as it were.
For me its a tie between Atlanta and the city I chose to move to, New Orleans. When I visit Atlanta, the people are great, much like in New Orleans. Conversing with strangers(which I thoroughly enjoy) is just as easy in Atlanta as in my city. I feel optimally comfortable in each city equally...
(The Atlanta posters here are nothing like the residents you'd come in contact with in Atlanta...trust me)
As much as I love L.A., being the home of the majority of my family, I feel the least compatible with the people there...obviously outside of my family. People there don't seem as laid-back and easygoing as they're fabled to be.
