The key is undeserved, if a city doesn't have something, nothing wrong with pointing this out. It's called being honest.

However, I noticed that Miami is hated on. It loses in polls it should win (imo), the people bash Miami for things they praise in other cities (Miami is cesspool, you can't speak English and it's overrun by immigrants--City B is awesome, I hear all those foreign languages and it's so diverse!). There is even a thread in the Florida forum why Miami is a determinent to the entire USA What's more people who live here are stereotyped as immoral, sleazy, rude, uneducated, I could go on.

I noticed some other cities, namely Phoenix, Houston, and Dallas also get some unnecessary stereotypes though from my vantage point it's more about their sprawly nature or their perceived heat (out of those, only Phoenix is hot hot), than anything else. But I include them for good measure.

Yes, I notice Houston a lot too. But usually it's basically how the city has nothing when in actuality it has a strong economy, is very diverse. Yes, it's sprawly, welcome to the sunbelt.

But do Houston resident's get stereotyped in the ugly way Miami residents do? No, Houston residents are considered nice even when they're stereotyped as provincial Texans.

Miami on the other hand... But maybe we deserve it

I don't know about which one is more hated, but I do know which one is most loved: SF, darling child poster boy of C-D.

Houston and Dallas get a ton of hate on CD but in real life they get good praise. Both are diverse with good economies. But on here they are mediocre at best.

I would say Phoenix is #1 in this regard. Phoenix is a unique interesting area that gets TONS of hate on here. Miami is another one for sure. I actually see a lot of praise for Houston and Dallas.

I'm not sure, Phoenix gets a lot of hate because it's a sprawly sun-belt city. It's stereotyped as boring, soulless place.

But when is the last time you saw a thread in the Arizona forum claiming Phoenix is a detriment in the USA? When someone makes a thread about moving to Phoenix when is the last time you see people scream that you Phoenix is a third-world cesspool filled with immoral people?
