I would honestly vote for Charlotte, NC.. . The push for St. Louis, MO is the history factor (Gateway Arch, Mississippi River, etc.) But Charlotte is closer to more areas I'm interested in (Charleston, Myrtle Beach, Roanoke Island, Atlanta, Savannah, Richmond, Williamsburg and Washington D.C. etc.)

Next: Providence, RI or Hartford, CT?
Providence. It has a livelier downtown, more colorful neighborhoods, and two prestigious higher-ed institutions right next to downtown.
Ugh.... neither! But if I had to pick, Camden. At least it's squeezed in between Philly and Cherry Hill.
Annapolis. Md or Savannah, GA?
Annapolis. Seems like a nice town.... proximity to Baltimore, DC, Chesapeake Bay, the Eastern Shore. I would enjoy the climate better. College football Saturdays at the Naval Academy.

Norfolk VA or Jacksonville FL
Jax, I think. I generally like Florida even if Jax isn’t my first choice. Still, it’s got enough of what makes Florida, Florida.
North East, MD, my home for the night, or O’Fallon, IL?
Annapolis, MD due to cost of living and proximity to friends who live in DC.
Charlotte, NC or Phoenix, AZ?
Phoenix... I prefer the region overall compared to Charlotte's area.
Orlando vs Vegas?
